Design is changing. Let’s not waste any time.

hi, me again 👋🏻.

Yes, product design is still about pixels and personas but designers can do so much more. It’s not enough to make things pretty—let’s design for growth. Let’s design for impact, let’s design efficiently, and let’s use all the emerging tools and technologies at our fingertips to get us there faster.

I bring 15+ years experience working with product-led startups and technology companies across industry, from enterprise SaaS and B2B, to healthcare, collaboration tools, consumer wellness and e-commerce. In each and every role, I’ve worked hand-in-hand with leadership, product, engineering and marketing teams to hit goals and help users.

Read on for more about my background and how I think about design.

Designing for Growth, Driven by Experience

As a growth product designer I bring a multidisciplinary approach to design, understanding business, products and users from many vantage points, drawing on my background in product marketing, PR, communications, and journalism. I pivoted to product design in 2018 with a deep desire to contribute to product strategy and user experience, having seen the enormous impact smart design could have on business outcomes and users.

I’m inspired by creating user experiences that quickly connect people with product value to drive acquisition, activation, retention, and referrals. With a strong foundation in design principles, an eye for beautiful, engaging design, and a scientific, data-driven approach to problem-solving, I deliver product experiences that move metrics and align user needs with business goals.

Collaboration is at the heart of my process—I take initiative, foster cross-functional alignment, and bring clarity to complex problems. Whether it’s leading strategic projects, designing seamless onboarding flows, or challenging the status quo, I approach every opportunity with curiosity, creativity, and a bit of humor.

A designer’s true value

To drive long-term success, now more than ever designers must blend craft and core design skills with a laser-sharp understanding of business goals and product strategy.

With the arrival of AI, making design decisions matters even more. Designers who uncover new business opportunities while solving real user problems can drive exponential impact.

Even more about me

I grew up in the 1900s 🤪, in Fremantle, Western Australia — the most isolated capital city in the world . The beaches in WA are breathtaking so I had to include some pictures. I hope you get see them one day. Also featured is the love of my life, Winnie, my 9lb Maltipoo.

For fun, I lift heavy things, run, read widely (I have an obsessive need to acquire new information) and go to a lot of comedy shows.
